    • Match students with appropriate tutors
    • Facilitate communication between students/parents and matched tutors
    • Process tutor applications and verify credentials

    • Respond to customer service requests

    3. How We Share Your Information

    We only share your information in the following situations:

    • With Matched Tutors: When a student submits a request, the request details (excluding contact info) are shown to matched tutors. Once a tutor claims the lead, we share the student's name, email, and phone number with that specific tutor ONLY.
    • Third-Party Service Providers: We use third-party services like Stripe (payment processing), HighLevel (CRM and email), and Google Analytics. These providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes.
    • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information where required to do so by law or subpoena.

    4. Data Retention

    We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Tutor credentials are securely stored for the duration of their active account and deleted within 90 days of account closure.

    5. Your Rights (Law 25 & PIPEDA)

    Under Quebec Law 25 and PIPEDA, you have the right to:

    • Access the personal information we hold about you
    • Request correction of inaccurate information
    • Withdraw your consent to our processing of your information
    • Request deletion of your personal information ("Right to be forgotten")
